Do you want to host your event at the park?
Some large events such as weddings, athletic contests, company parties, etc. may require a Special Activity Permit.
Please contact the park if you would like to plan an event. You can schedule a tour with a park staff member to plan and learn about fees and other permits.
The application for a Special Activity Permit must be submitted at least 14 days in advance of the date of the event to be considered by park staff.
Facilities at Lake Norman
Half Day (9am - 12pm OR 1pm - 5pm): $85
Full Day (9am - 5pm): $160
Max occupancy: 88 standing or 40 with tables and chairs
Half Day (9am - 12pm OR 1pm - 5pm): $85

Rented for full days only (full day = park hours):
- Kingfisher: $108 (power available when reserved) - max 100 people
- Osprey: $108 (power available when reserved) - max 100 people
- Heron: $108 - max 100 people
- Wood Duck: $83 - max 50 people
