The North Carolina Department of Transportation is slated to begin construction on the replacement bridge across Crabtree Creek along the South Turkey Creek Multiuse Trail on Monday, June 15, 2026. During construction, segments of Cedar Ridge, North Turkey Creek, and South Turkey Creek multiuse trails near the bridge will be closed.
Please follow onsite signage. Do not attempt to access the closed area, which is an active construction zone. We appreciate your patience as we work to complete the project as soon as possible. At this time, we anticipate the project to be complete before the end of the year. We will continue to update this blog post with the latest information.
