The bridge over Crabtree Creek at William B. Umstead State Park has been removed and will need to be replaced. Hikers, mountain bicyclists, and equestrians should not utilize Ebenezer Church Road bridge due to motor vehicle traffic.
Several facilities at Morrow Mountain are closed for extended periods from 2022-2024 due to construction.
Holly Point, Shinleaf, and BW Wells are currently closed for construction. All other areas are open. Some bathrooms and facilities are closed in some areas. Portable toilets are available where restrooms are closed. Closed bathrooms and facilities will be reopened once construction is completed in that area.
