Stone Mountain Falls Closed Beginning November 3, 2025 for Stair Replacement Project
The Stone Mountain Loop Trail will be closed from the chimney near the Upper Trailhead Parking down to the Middle Falls/Lower Falls Trail. Upper Trailhead Parking will be limited. Click here to view a map of the closure.
STMO Park Partial Trail Closure September 8th, 2026 and September 9th, 2026.
Due to construction the Picnic Area and Upper Trailhead will be closed Sept. 8th-Sept. 9th to visitors. Visitors can still access the Summit (strenuous) from the Lower Trailhead.
Closure Notice:
The Clear Creek access will be closed beginning Friday, March 27, 2026 until the construction of a new entrance road and parking area are complete.
