All North Carolina state parks west of I-77 are closed through at least Oct. 31, 2024. Most programs at all state parks across North Carolina have been cancelled, also through Oct. 31, 2024.
Due to impacts of Hurricane Helene, Stone Mountain State Park is closed until further notice.
The park remain closed until park staff are able to assess the damage and determine that it is safe to reopen.
