Beaverdam remains open under its normal operating schedule. Bathrooms are closed but portable toilets are available.
Holly Point campground is closed for construction and will reopen by November 16, 2026.
All other Falls Lake areas are operating under their normal schedule.
Falls Lake State Recreation Area is currently in the construction phase of our project to upgrade our wastewater systems. During construction some bathrooms, facilities, and camping areas will be closed. Currently construction is progressing in Beaverdam and Holly Point Recreation Areas.
Please note that changes to the existing closures or additional closures are expected as the project progresses. We will update this page throughout the project as dates change.
We apologize for any inconvenience. This project will upgrade aging infrastructure and will allow the park to continue to safely process and treat wastewater. Please contact the park office if you have any questions.
