There will be a prescribed burn at Eno River State Park today, Tuesday, January 13.
A portion of the Fonta Flora trail will be closed. There will be smoke in the area. Visitors and residents are encouraged to take precautions to reduce smoke exposure. For a list of suggestions on how to reduce negative smoke impacts, visit the U.S. Air Quality Index website, AirNow.gov.
Eno River State Park is partially closed.
Please do not attempt to enter closed areas. Most accesses have reopened. See Trail Statuses under "Plan Your Visit" below. This alert will be removed when the park fully reopens.
