There is a prescribed burn at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park on Thursday, Dec. 11.
The Swim Lake parking lot and Canoe Launch will be closed, and there will be smoke in the area. Visitors and residents are encouraged to take precautions to reduce smoke exposure.
