Beaverdam remains open under its normal operating schedule.
Rolling View day-use area remains open under its normal operating schedule. Rolling View campsites and community building rentals are closed starting January 1, 2026 until construction is completed in that area.
Other Falls Lake areas are open under their normal operating schedule.
Falls Lake State Recreation Area is currently in the construction phase of our project to upgrade our wastewater systems. During construction some bathrooms, facilities, and camping areas will be closed. Currently construction is progressing in Beaverdam, Rolling View, and Sandling Recreation Areas. Other facilities and areas will be affected later in 2026.
Please note that changes to the existing closures or additional closures are expected as the project progresses. We will update this page throughout the project as dates change.
