William B. Umstead State Park now offers all-terrain wheelchair rentals.
These wheelchairs help individuals with limited mobility enjoy outdoor adventures and experience the wonders of wildlife and nature. Please fill out the interest form to begin the reservation process.
The newly renovated campground at William B. Umstead State Park will open to the public soon.
Beginning on June 15, visitors can go to the park for a first-come, first-served walk-up tent/trailer/RV reservations. Advanced reservations for June 29 and later will be available on the Aspira reservations website soon. Check back later for availability.
William B. Umstead: Bridge Replacement Construction on South Turkey Creek Multiuse Trail
Beginning on June 15, segments of Cedar Ridge, North Turkey Creek, and South Turkey Creek MUTs will be closed due to construction. Do not attempt to access closed areas. Visit our blog post for more information.
