There will be a prescribed burn at South Mountains State Park March 9-10, 2026.
There are no closures, but there will be smoke in the area. Visitors and residents are encouraged to take precautions to reduce smoke exposure. For a list of suggestions on how to reduce negative smoke impacts, visit the U.S. Air Quality Index website, AirNow.gov.
