Bear Island Camping Closed Due to Effects from Hurricane Erin.
Due to threat of high surf and erosion/over wash from Hurricane Erin, all Bear Island campsites will be closed Tuesday - Friday 8/19-8/22/2025. Staff monitoring conditions.
Lifeguards Schedule Change: Not on Duty 8/9-8/10/2025, Weekends only through Labor Day 9/1/2025
Due to staffing changes, lifeguards will not be on duty Saturday and Sunday 8/9 - 8/10/2025 then on duty weekends only through Labor Day, Monday 9/1/2025.
