There will be a prescribed burn at Carolina Beach State Park on Tuesday, Sept 8th 2026
Closures include the Nature Trail Lane, Flytrap Trail, Sugarloaf and Campground Trail. Visitors and residents are encouraged to take precautions to reduce smoke exposure. For a list of suggestions on how to reduce negative smoke impacts, visit the U.S. Air Quality Index website, AirNow.gov.
