Come check out the macro organisms that live in the mysterious waters here at the park with Ranger Baker! We will be netting small creatures that live in the secret pond such as crayfish, tadpoles, and more but we’ll need your help identifying some of the others! Butterfly Hike

Come out and learn about the Carolina Butterfly Monitoring program and how you can help monitor the population of butterflies at Carvers Creek! We'll be following the Wiregrass Loop Trail at the Sandhills Access to look for local butterflies and developing our identification skills. Meet by the signboard next to the overflow parking lot at our Sandhills Access.Please call the Park Office to Sign-up!
