All open fires, including campfires, are prohibited at all state parks until further notice. There is currently a statewide burn ban in place due to high risk of wildfire. Call 911 to report a wildfire.
Expect smoke east of the Paddy's Creek picnic area and south of the Mill's Creek Trail. Alert will be taken down once the burn is complete.
No fires are permitted at any campsites at Lake James State Park during the burn ban. This alert will be removed when the ban is lifted.
