Many state parks are currently accepting applications for a variety of seasonal positions.

We are looking for general utility workers, lifeguards, office assistant, park technicians, and more who want to work in a beautiful state park setting. A full list of open positions across the state is available on our Jobs page. Apply today!

Entrance Fees April-September

We start charging entrance fees during the months of April - September also includes all state recognized holidays. Fees are: $7 per vehicle, $5 senior/military, $20 bus/van.

NC Friends of State Parks: Field Trip Funding

The Youth in Parks – Environmental Education (YIP-EE) project focuses on getting students outside the classroom into our state parks. If your school needs a grant to fund a field trip to Jordan Lake State Recreation Area, visit the Friends of State Park website.
