Backcountry campsites and Chestnut Mountain Road are closed until further notice. All other areas remain open.
Gorges State Park’s bear population is active throughout the year.
Please be Bear Wise during your visit. Store food in a vehicle or camper, and deposit trash in bear-proof trash receptacles. Please visit our Park Safety page for information on bear safety measures.
