Due to damage from Hurricane Florence, some bridges have sustained damages, making a few trails impassable. Holden Mill Trail and Pump Station Trail are closed until further notice. The two reservable picnic shelters at Eno River State Park are affordable and ideal for large group outings.
The Few's Ford shelter accommodates 96 people, and has water and restrooms. It has a fireplace and grill. The Cole Mill shelter accommodates 60 people, and has water and vault toilets. It has a grill.
Both shelters are handicap accessible.
Although unreserved shelters are available free of charge on a first-come first-served basis, reservations are strongly suggested.
