Our fluttery friends are back! Join a Naturalist on a five mile hike along Cox Mountain to Fanny's Ford to find butterflies, bees, dragonflies, darters, and other flying insects. We will practice identifying our flying friends using guides and Seek, by iNaturalist.
Meet at the Fews Ford Visitor Contact Station kiosk at 6131 Cole Mill Road, third on the right after entering the gate. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sunblock, and snacks.
Spaces are limited, and registration is required. To sign up, call (984) 250-1370 or click the Register button to email eno.river@ncparks.gov. Please include the number of guests in your party and a phone number where you can be reached if the event is changed or canceled.
