Come along for a Ranger-led guided birding walk on our unmarked, unofficial Mayo Meadows trail. Connecting our Business 220 River Access and our Mayo River Road Access, this unknown trail opens up to a large, secluded field that is great for beginner and professional birders to visit.
Meeting location is at the Business 220 Access parking lot (Mayo River Bridge Kayak Launch 3100-3110 US-220 BUS, Stoneville, NC 27048). The trail is about 1.2 miles out and back and considered easy difficulty, but please bring proper shoes, water, and birding gear that you would like to bring.
