Join us on October 13th, 2025, from 11 am - 2 pm for Indigenous Peoples' Day event at the Lake Bathhouse!
The event will include exhibits, artifacts, activities and flintknapping by Stokes County Historical Society, Timothy S. Y. Lam Museum of Anthropology, Phyllis Smith and Pete Atkins. Days of the Saura activities like corn husk dolls, clay pottery, canoeing (free) and games presented by Hanging Rock staff. We will also be joined by the Danbury Library for children story time around a bonfire and the Friends of Sauratown Mountains.
Food Truck: Popa Bears Concessions - roasted corn, nachos, hotdogs, brats, polish sausage and drinks.
