Enjoy the outdoors while visiting the state park! Pick up a bingo card at the visitor center, then hit the trails to spot fall favorites—colorful leaves, acorns, migrating birds, and more. Complete a row (or the whole card!) to win a small prize and discover the beauty of fall in a whole new way. Perfect for kids and nature lovers alike!
Mount Mitchell State Park is now reopened to the public.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is open up to the state park entrance but remains closed from just past Mount Mitchell through milepost 334 near Little Switzerland. Please read our blog post for the most up-to-date information on park access and trails status.
