PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Meet a ranger in the lower lot trailhead. Bring a flashlight (preferably with a red lamp) and whatever gear you need for approximately 3 miles of walking. There will be some steep sections of hiking, most of which will be in low-light or dark conditions. To pre-register, contact either the park office at 336-957-8185 or email stone.mountain@ncparks.gov with a count of how many will be attending along with a vehicle description. Weather permitting.
