Join a park naturalist to learn all about the eastern box turtle—where they live, what they eat, and how to help protect them! Then, go on a short walk to spot hidden turtles along the trail, and finish with a fun craft where you’ll make your own turtle to take home. Wear comfy walking shoes and bring your creativity!

Skins and Skulls – Sunday June 22nd, 2025

Join Ranger Wood to look at some examples of the different mammals that live in the forest around Rendezvous Mountain.  Kids will be able to look at and feel tanned skins and animal skulls.  This will be an informal table talk at the Ranger Office, from 2:00pm till 3:00pm.
