Join us at Merchants Millpond State Park for another summer full of adventures!
Join us Monday, July 14th with special guest stars Amy and Mary for an outdoor adventure. Dig in, get messy, and soak up the sunshine! Join us for a hands-on outdoor adventure celebrating the magic of the sun and the wonders beneath our feet. From painting with soil to creating sunny art and creating animal prints with clay, each station offers new ways to play, create, and connect with nature. Activities may vary depending on the weather—but there’s always fun to be had! Great for kids of all ages.
This program will start at 10:00 AM sharp at the visitor center auditorium and last for about an hour. We will meet for a brief discussion to kick things off. This has the potential to be a messy adventure and is outdoors, so guests are encouraged to dress for the weather. Bringing an extra change of clothes is recommended.
Summer is an excellent time to soak up the sun and enjoy all the outdoors have to offer, especially at the Millpond. We also have a small scavenger hunt set up for those who are interested, so grab a list and go see what you can find!
