Elk Knob, Lake James, New River, and Stone Mountain state parks will reopen at least partially on Nov. 15; three parks will remain closed until further notice and face long-term closures: Chimney Rock, Mount Mitchell, and South Mountains.

Please note that we are limited to loaner 20 poles. Feel free to bring your own tackle and poles as long as it is in good working order.Meet at Morse Park in Lake Lure. The program will take place near the walking trails. Parking available at the Lake Lure Marina and public parking in Lake Lure.
