Animal tracks are all around us! Come learn how to spot different animal tracks and signs in the park. We'll do a craft a then take a short hike to investigate and identify tracks. All ages welcome. We will meet in front of the Welcome Center.Please call the Park Office to sign up!

Carvers Creek staff will be leading a Winter Scavenger Hunt. It may be getting cold outside, but winter is a great time to watch wildlife or find evidence that wildlife has been around. In 2023, we will explore the trails you can find in Carvers Creek State Park, give you some tips for enjoying your hikes, and pass on some of the wisdom our ranger staff has accumulated over the years. For July, we will explore the rest of the Longleaf Pine Trail at Sandhills Access.
