Volunteers at Carvers Creek State Park working on trimming plants

Our prized volunteers help us with everything from trail maintenance to invasive species removal.

This month, we will be partnering with the Environmental Educators of North Carolina. EENC grew from the desire of environmental educators across the state to meet and share their experiences, aspirations, and tools. Their organization represents a network of outstanding environmental educators, individuals, and organizations who work together to accomplish the core mission of building connections, providing professional development, and promoting excellence in environmental education.

Bring gloves and bottled water. Dress for the weather and in proper clothing to work, which includes closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a shirt you do not mind getting dirty.

Meet at the park office.
