Come join a Chimney Rock State Park Ranger to hike the 1.5 miles moderate trail. The Rumbling Bald Trail is a loop trail that meanders through a beautiful hardwood forest along the south face of Rumbling Bald Mountain, revealing huge boulder fields and the base of the cliff areas. We will identify and learn about some of the common trees found in the southern Appalachian environment of Chimney Rock.
