Join us at Merchants Millpond State Park for another summer full of adventures!
Come see what's hopping at Merchants Millpond on Monday, August 11th, with our Schools in Parks Specialist, Stephanie, as we leap into the awesome world of amphibians! Similar to some reptiles, amphibians are a special group of critters that like the water and land, but there are a few things that make them different. From sneaky salamanders to jumping frogs, come on out and learn what makes these creatures so special!
This program will start at 10:00 AM sharp at the visitor center auditorium and last for about an hour. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather.
There are plenty of amphibians present during the summer at the Millpond, so come on out and tell us what you spot! We also have a small scavenger hunt set up for those who are interested, so grab a list and go see what you can find!
