Join Ranger Mandy at the Burnsville Fire Department to learn about sensational soil. Soil is a dynamic and vital part of our environment that helps plants survive and grow, keeps water clean, and supports many other living things. By observing and learning about soil, we can see how it helps our natural world stay healthy and resilient. Visitors will explore the different parts of soil and try to identify bugs and rocks they find. Visitors will also be able to make art with parts of the soil. All events are free. You can join us any time between 12-3. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own snacks and drinks, these will not be provided.
This is a hands-on experiential learning opportunity.
Meet in the community room in the back of the Burnsville Fire Department.
