Join us at Merchants Millpond State Park for another summer full of adventures!
On Monday, June 2nd, come see Ranger Joe as he takes us through the radical world of reptiles! From snakes, to turtles, alligators, and everything in between, reptiles come in many shapes and sizes, so come prepared to learn about the reptiles of the millpond and more. Reptiles have lots of different features and adaptations that make them very special creatures, so come on out and learn about what makes your favorite reptiles so unique.
This program will start at 10:00 AM sharp at the visitor center auditorium and last for about an hour. We will plan on being mostly inside for this one, but guests are still encouraged to dress for the weather.
Summer is a great time to see the reptiles of Merchants Millpond in the wild, so we encourage guests to hike the trails for themselves. We also have a small scavenger hunt set up for those who are interested, so grab a list and go see what you can find!
