Join Piedmont Astronomers outside the park's Visitor Center on both Friday, August 29th and Saturday, August 30th for:
Solar viewing: 10 am to 12pm
Nighttime Star gazing: 8 pm to 10 pm
Events will occur on both days. Weather conditions are looking promising for sky viewing but are not guaranteed. Registration is not required. Please bring a red filter for your flashlight for nighttime viewing, this reduces light impact on night vision. Call the park office at 336-593-8480 for additional information.
