You might have heard their loud, buzzing chorus on a summer day or seen their molts on trees. These noisy neighbors are called cicadas, and they stay underground for thirteen or seventeen years. After that, they come out with a purpose. Join our naturalist at the Paddy’s Creek Visitor Center to learn about cicadas and their life cycle.
