Join our naturalist for this 0.7 mile hike on the Chestnut Oak Nature Trail. Here we will talk more about the forest floor, native foliage, lichen and fungi, wild ferns, and learn about the variety of trees at the park. As we pass the creek at the water’s edge participants will get hands on while learning more about the stream community. This program is suitable for all ages with a focus on school age children.
