Join our Schools in Parks (SIP) specialist at the Live Oak trail entrance for a nature-journal hike designed to help you slow down and observe the natural world with clearer, more curious eyes. As we walk, you’ll build creativity through sketching and writing while strengthening memory and learning by recording what you discover. This peaceful experience also offers a chance to relax, reset, and enjoy the mental health benefits of being fully present in nature. Bring your notebook/journal, pencils, colored pencils, oil pastels, and/or water-color paints to sketch or write and a blanket or towel to rest upon. Program is weather dependent.
