Join a Naturalist on a three and a half mile hike around Cox Mountain and Fanny's Ford to discover the diverse ecology along the Eno. Learn to identify Spring flora and fauna using identification guides and Seek by iNaturalist.
Meet at the Fews Ford Visitor Contact Station kiosk at 6131 Cole Mill Road, third parking lot on the right past the entry gate, for a three and a half mile on and off trail hike with an opportunity to hop in the river at Fews Ford.
Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sunblock, and bug spray.
Space is limited, and registration is required. To sign up, call the park at (984) 250-1370 or click the Register button to email eno.river@ncparks.gov. Include the number of guests in your party and a phone number where you can be reached if the event is changed or canceled.
