Join us for Nature Day 2025 as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary as a NC State Park. We are packing a lot of opportunities into just three hours. Educational and activity stations will be located at the Visitor Center and Jacob Fork parking area. There will be a shuttle service to help quests move between parking areas, the Visitor Center, and Picnic Pavilion. This is an event for all ages and family friendly. There will be many hands-on activities for the kids and adults. Build your knowledge base by attending one of the wildlife presentations. Local libraries and conservation organizations will also be hosting booths and leading activities. Food will be available for purchase as part of a local fundraiser. Heartstrings band will be playing live at the pavilion. It is the perfect time to visit the park!
