Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a guided walk at Morrow Mountain State Park. We will test our knowledge of birds by identifying and counting them for an eBird checklist. Field guides and local bird lists will be available for identification. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Be prepared to hike approximately one mile over uneven ground. We will meet at the Boathouse and Fall Mountain Trail parking lot. Beginners are welcome to attend!

Lake Norman State Park is the host site for a Triathlon on Saturday October 25th, 2025. Expect limited access near swim beach and heavy road traffic of runners and cyclist.
