Come celebrate the new year at Merchants Millpond on Thursday, January 1st for our 2026 First Day Hike! We will meet at the visitor center at 10AM to kick things off before heading down Bennett's Creek Trail. This is a ranger guided walk so feel free to ask any questions about the park, its history, and the ecosystem around you!
Bennett's Creek Trail is a relatively easy 2-mile loop. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather. This hike is expected to last around an hour
