Full moon over the mountains, as seen at Stone Mountains State Park

Come along for a Ranger-led guided night hike during Septembers Corn Moon. The full moon of September gets the name "Corn Moon"  as it corresponds with the late summer-early fall time of North American corn harvesting.

Meeting location is at the lower parking lot of the Mayo Mountain Access. The Mayo Mountain trail is an easy-intermediate 2 mile hike, please bring lights, hiking shoes, and water

If you have further questions, please call the park office at (336) 916-6080.

Please note: This event is subject to cancellation due to weather.

Registration is required.
