Only 4 wild canid species live in North Carolina and 3 of those you can find right here in Hanging Rock State Park! Coyotes and foxes are abundant in the area and indicators of them can be found around the park. Learn more about these species with our educator and see if you can identify the different pelts, skulls, and tracks of the coyote, grey fox, and red fox.
