Have you ever heard of a Sun Dog? Do you know what a Turkey Tail really is? Join us while we talk about common misnomers in nature and learn how different species were named. Together, we will discover that sometimes names can be deceiving! Meet in the Visitor Center classroom. 

National Walk Your Dog Day Hike

Attention all Bark Rangers: Today is National Walk Your Dog Day!

Show your appreciation for “Man’s Best Friend” by taking them on a guided hike on the Three Rivers Trail. This trail is approximately one mile long with beautiful views of the Confluence of the Yadkin-Pee Dee rivers. Meet at the trailhead located in the Boathouse parking lot.
