Join Park Tech Abbie at 1:00pm in learning a brief history of charcoal drawing while making charcoal sticks from start to finish over an open fire. You’ll then be able to use your charcoal sticks to create your own art! This program is suitable for older children and adults. Children and teens must be accompanied by a guardian. The park is under attack, and we need your help! Join a Park Ranger while we go on the hunt to identify and map invasive species in the park! Be prepared to search high and low in the woods and hike roughly one mile using the Seek App on mobile devices.
Take a few minutes to focus on relaxation and mindfulness while in the park! With Park Staff, we will be learning about sustainability while making Zen gardens using recycled and natural materials. Meet at the picnic shelter.
