Join an interpretive Ranger to look at some examples of the different mammals that live in the forest around Rendezvous Mtn.  Kids will be able to look and feel some tanned skins and animal skulls.

Come check out the macro organisms that live in the mysterious waters here at the park with Ranger Baker! We will be netting small creatures that live in the secret pond such as crayfish, tadpoles, and more but we’ll need your help identifying some of the others! 

Come out and learn about the Carolina Butterfly Monitoring program and how you can help monitor the population of butterflies at Carvers Creek! We'll be following the Wiregrass Loop Trail at the Sandhills Access to look for local butterflies and developing our identification skills. 

Celebrate Track Trails Day 2024 with a walk on our Track Trail Hike! We'll be looking for some common and not-so-common things as we walk the Wiregrass Loop. 

Meet at the Sandhills Access, by the signboard next to the overflow parking lot.

The curriculum for this program is for Preschool and younger but siblings are always welcome.
