Springs and Seeps Hike

Before Umstead was a park, where did the people who lived here find fresh water to drink? Sure they could drink from ponds and streams, but there's nothing like a cool drink from a pure natural spring. Join Ranger Dioguardi on this off trail hike to find some of the natural springs and seeps that were used by people to stay hydrated all year long. Be prepared for rugged off trail terrain.
