Earth Day at the Park

Bring a friend, or just come and make a friend! Volunteer with Friends of South Mountains State Park and show your love for the park by getting your hands a little dirty helping park staff with a project to make your park more beautiful. Project will be decided by park staff prior to the event, but projects may include trail work or a project in the picnic area or on the Kids TRACK trail. All tools and equipment will be provided. Just bring water, a snack and wear sturdy shoes and long pants/long sleeves. You may want to bring your own gloves. Spend a few hours with other people who love South Mountains State Park as much as you do! This will be a great opportunity to learn about the non-profit group Friends of South Mountains State Park and how they support the park.
