Public access is limited to hiking, fishing and private watercraft. Swimming is available for group campers only.
 

Scheduled events

Singletary Lake State Park offers a variety of learning opportunities for all ages. Typically led by park rangers, these interpretive programs allow the public to gain perspective into what makes North Carolina state parks naturally wonderful. ​

Most of the events are free, though some require pre-registration. All give park visitors deeper insight into the natural world. Call the park office for more information.

Meet at the CCC Statue at Camp Ipecac at 4:00pm and join the ranger for an easy 1 mile loop hike.
Don't forget your camera as we will hopefully catch a spectacular sunset at the end of the hike.
