2nd Annual Muscular Dystrophy Charity Motorcycle Ride

The 2nd Annual Muscular Dystrophy Charity motorcycle ride is an event where money is being raised to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Riders will be starting at New Dixie Mart (off site) and ending at Medoc Mountain State Park Picnic Shelter.   The cost is $30 per bike with some food provided.  For more information or to register please e-mail Denise Williams at:

FIRST Day Hike

Start the New Year by taking in some fresh air and hiking along the Stream Loop and Discovery Loop Trails with a park ranger.  The hike will be approximately two miles and two hours in length.  Wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a bottle of water.  Call the park office at 252-586-6588 to register for this free program!
