All the hiking and mountain biking trails in the park are closed due to flooding. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Medoc Mountain State Park
Campground hosts are volunteers who make contact with campers by occasional patrols of the camping area, issuing camping permits, and by generally being available at the host campsite.
Spend a morning assisting with a trail work day sponsored by the Friends of Medoc Mountain State Park as we install a short trail reroute on the Stream Loop Trail. All tools and safety equipment will be provided and the time spent working will count towards volunteer recognition awards. Heavy rainfall over the last week may have impacts on the park over Memorial Day weekend. Please plan ahead in anticipation of potential trail closures.
Little Fishing Creek is currently blocked by a large tree near the Bluff Loop Trail. The creek is impassable to paddlers at this point. We are working to clear the blockage. Please check the website for updates.

Come to Medoc Mountain State Park and enjoy a leisure hike through the woods by the light of the full moon. Participants will hike various park trails and enjoy the sights and sounds of the night.
