Lumber River State Park First Day Hike at the Princess Ann Access Area

Join us this New Year's Day to kick off 2019 with a fantastic start. Visit the Princess Ann Access Area of Lumber River State Park for a fun, healthy, and educational hike on our trails. Come learn about the Lumber River along with some local wildlife that inhabit the park as we hike approximately two miles. You'll get some exercise and fresh air while you're at it!

Come learn about the Lumber River and the flora and fauna that inhabit the park as we hike approximately two miles. You'll get some exercise and fresh air while you're at it!

Park closures

Due to flooding, campsites 7 and 8 at Princess Ann access is closed until further notice. Sections of trails at Chalk Banks access are also closed until further notice. Once the water recedes, park staff will work on clearing any hazards and this alert will be removed when they reopen.

Lumber River Day Festival
